Philadelphia, PA

It wasn't actually in our plans to go to Philly but my aunt works there and she asked us if we would like to go with her so we could explore the place. It could also sort of 'train' us for our NYC trip since we're going to do a lot of walking. We didn't have anything to do anyway so we agreed. And I was actually looking forward to seeing the Liberty Bell ever since I watched Nicolas Cage's National Treasure!! I love his movies!

We purchased bus tickets the weekend before that. Going to Philly took us about 2 hrs from Baltimore.

We arrived around 12nn so as soon as we said our goodbyes to my aunt, we took off and walked towards the city. We were already hungry and we were craving for some Japanese or Korean so we asked Siri if there are cheap places nearby.

Oh, we got a city map from the Amtrak station like what we did in DC!
We found this small place that I forgot the name of but their specialty were Korean and Japanese food and it's actually already packed with businessmen/women when we got there. They were ordering take outs so lucky us got seats. We thought since the place was packed, it must be worth a try. I ordered my favorite Korean meal, Beef Bibimbap and it's okay! It's pretty good. Hahaha, I mean, since I've already tried the bibimbap from Korea, I think nothing can top that.
Yep, so the walking begins again! Hahaha. Our target was to walk until 6th St where the Liberty Bell was. And we were from more than 30th St. Hahaha. We're lucky the blocks in Philly isn't that wide.

City Hall

Stopped by at JFK plaza when we heard some band playing
What's love got to do, got to do with it?
Love is all you need.

Reading Market Terminal! We stopped by here and I swear if we weren't tourists, I'd shop for my food here everyday. It was too bad we were too full from lunch to try anything!
We passed by Chinatown to check it out because of Sasa. Hahaha we actually asked her to translate everything! We bought some drinks from one of the grocery shops here because it was getting too hot. Loved this bottle of Sweet Jasmine Tea and I've been looking for it around everywhere else ever since!

See? We survived walking until 6th St!!!
We headed back right after. No, we didn't get to see the Liberty Bell like I hoped we would. We were out of time because we needed to catch our bus. There were a lot of tourists around so we thought that if we hang around, we'd miss our bus since we were going to walk back again. (Took us an hour walking straight back, ha! Beat that! Hahaha. Jk)

I hope to visit Philly again! Even just for the Liberty Bell and cheese steaks. We didn't get to try cheese steaks!!! I love cheese steaks so it was too bad we couldn't try it in Philly. Now I'm getting hungry.

Next stop.... NYC!
