We only had one week to spare in California before we fly back home to the Philippines. We looked up places to visit near San Jose (where we were staying that time) and we found out about Carmel-by-the-Sea through Sasa's Chinese friend who also happened to be in California that time. We asked my aunt and uncle to take us there if it's okay and I'm so happy they agreed.
We stopped by Carmel Mission
I was so excited of this Carmel trip because when I looked it up, everything looks lovely in the pictures!!
House peg! I am so in love with this house!!!!!
I super love the houses in Carmel!!! They all look like they came out from a fairytale book!
Carmel was packed with tourists since it's almost July 4 when we went there so we just passed by houses and took a short walk around. Wish I could stay there at least overnight to appreciate everything.
I love the shops! I just think Carmel is a really chill place to visit. Huhuhu hope I can go back there again.
Since Carmel was packed, my uncle decided to take us to Monterey Harbor for lunch.
View from our table. Isn't it nice?
Simply stunning
We went home after eating since we're going to my other aunt's house for dinner and it was a long drive home. I'll try and come back to these places again!!
PS: this is where I left my GAP cap. I think I left it at the restaurant. It was too painful since I'm so sentimental, I think it holds a lot of memories. And I think it's sort of one of my 'bond' with Sasa and Glyza huhuhu too bad.
4th of July:
I spent my 4th of July with my aunt's relatives. It's my first time meeting them and I think they're really great. We had BBQ and spent the night watching fireworks.
Here's to my first 4th of July! (This cake is actually super yummy, I had two huge slices!)
I really wish I can go to Carmel again. Huhuhu I fell in love with the place. Seriously!!
