Consistency

It's almost a month since I've been back from my program in the US (which I'll be sharing later on) and this is just a starter post of my feelings and thoughts when I was still there. I had this 21/21 goal where I'll post pictures on instagram together with quotes or poems that captured me or I made myself.

So here's to being 21 and finally opening my heart!

I see all these buildings, I look left and right, I can't find you, tell me where you are, why can't I just zoom in on you? 💕 5/21 xo B

Once in a while, I let my mind wander. Once in a while, it would be filled with thoughts of you. Once in a while, I'd ask, are you thinking of me too? 💕 6/21 xo B

But then, if he told me, "turn around, look at me again," I probably will. I'd forget the pain. I only need to look into his eyes and I'd remember all the moments we had. I only need to see his smile and I'd feel my heart beating fast. And I only need to hear his laugh and I'd pour all the love I have. With him, the happiness I'll feel would be nothing like I've ever had. 💕 7/21 xo B (P.S.: Nope, there's no guy. Nope, not in love. :p)

I am a dreamer. I dream of your hand intertwined with mine. I dream of how perfectly I fit in your arms. I dream of waking up each day with you gazing at me. I dream of the sound of your voice calling my name. And my favorite dream is of you waiting for me at the end of that aisle, also dreaming and dreaming of that forever you'll spend with me. 💕 8/21 xo B

Sunsets. It's when we watch the daylight fade, the sun coming down after a long day. It's when we see the orange hues giving way to the navy blue sky. And it's when we know that minutes after, the stars will twinkle in wonder. That's when I miss you. But that's also when I know that you'll be looking at the same glittering sky I see, and not really seeing, not really missing me. 💕 10/21 xo B

It's up to you to know which people should stay in your life. It's hard to let go. It hurts to know that they can't stay. But you know in your heart that you can be happy again. Without them. 💕 13/21 xo B

Romantic walks by the beach. Talking for hours about random things. Pointing at the brightest star on the velvety blue sky. Sharing a blanket while drinking hot chocolate. These things I imagine. And it's always with you. 💕 19/21 xo B

Lost in the city that never sleeps. Lost beneath the shadows of the buildings she can't reach. Lost within the blinking lights and the honking cars. Lost among the sea of people passing by. Lost, so lost but she's finding a way to get by. To get closer and closer to finding him. 💕 20/21 xo B

It's not always great when you mask your feelings and emotions. Cry if you want to. Laugh if you want to. Just be yourself. Happiness will find you. 💕 21/21 xo B ♡♡♡
