It's easier to go from Euljiro Station than the Myeongdong Station so I suggested that instead.
Our next stop was the Namsan Tower!
We went there via the cable car. We were supposed to go there by bus so it wouldn't be too expensive then go back to Myeongdong by cable car at night (one-way) but we didn't have the luxury of time so we ended up buying the two-way cable car tickets. We realized that it would turn dark around 9:00PM in Seoul and it's too late for us. We wanted to explore other places so it's not really practical to wait around Myeongdong until it gets dark. Also, we went there on a Sunday, we expected a lot of people and a long line at the cable car. (They have one-way ticket for the cable car from the tower, and they have one-way ticket to the tower. After looking for references if we can buy a one-way ticket from the tower, we didn't find one. So I'm telling you now, you can buy a one-way ticket from the tower)
This was our view from the cable car! It's really foggy and we think it's because they predicted that it will rain that day which fortunately, it didn't.
How to get there: (follow red line below)
We walked to the cable car station from the Tourist Information Center near Myeongdong Theater. They have the detailed Myeongdong map like the detailed maps of Insa-dong and Hongdae. They told us to keep right when we see the Pacific Hotel so basically that's the landmark you're going to look for once you cross the street. When you're coming from the subway station, exit at Myeongdong Station Exit 3 or Exit 4. It's actually a really tiring walk! Hahaha from the Pacific Hotel, the pathway started going uphill and it was so tiring to climb!
Haha! The funny thing was, right after we arrived, the first thing we did was look for a water vending machine! Yes, that's how tired we were from the uphill climb!
Yep, he's taken. PS: If anyone asks, please do tell them I'm Lee Min Ho's girlfriend. :p HAHAHA
Korea's No' 1 Dessert!!!! Kim Soo Hyun! Hahaha
There's free hanbok fitting again! Like the ones we did in Gwanghamun.
Cyril and I met up with Klariz and Pritzy when we got back from Namsan Tower. (They didn't go with us because they've been to the tower lots of times already) They found this unlimited samgyupsal place in Myeongdong for only 12,000won! Sweet deal. Unlimited meat! They also have sushi and other korean dishes.
Our next stop was the Namsangol Hanok Village.
How to get there: Chungmuro Station (Line 3&4) Exit 4
On my first time there, I didn't know how large the village was! I only realized when I looked closely at the map at the entrance. The village is really huge!
We treated Namsangol Hanok Village as a photoshoot haven! We sort of pretended that we were in a 'band' and we're having a photoshoot for our first album. HAHAHA pictures coming your way!
Emotera lang please! Hahaha
See, you don't need to have a DLSR to have a photoshoot for an album cover! Hahaha sobrang echosera lang.
Wait, sobrang off pala ng pose ko dito! Hahahaha
Introducing The BSB and PD-nim.
This is a really lovely shot!
After Namsangol, we bid goodbye to Klariz and Pritzy and we headed to Ehwa University (E-dae). Our friends told us that we can buy cheap bags, clothes and shoes there so we decided to try our luck. I don't know if it's because it's Sunday but there aren't really many open stores until late at night. There are cheap items there but we were practical, we could purchase almost the same clothes at lower prices in the Philippines so we didn't buy anything. I did see pretty shoes but it would cost me 30,000won for the designs I wanted so... no, I didn't buy anything. They have the 10,000won store for all bags (almost the same as the one in Insa-dong) and I bought a really simple and cute bag which I now use in school.
Here's my one picture taken at Ehwa University! It's really really nice there (the buildings are sort of European-themed) and the university is huge. I almost wanted to study there! Hahaha almost.
Yay to our 6th day! Only one more blog post to go!
