#1 San Francisco, CA

I know I said I'm going to update my blog regularly again but I can't because of the crappy internet connection in our house. I don't know if it's because my brother's downloading from torrent that's why it's so slow (I asked him and he said he's not downloading but I think he's lying because I was already shouting at him, hahaha oh well).

I've been busy sorting out my pictures, there are a lot from my trip! The pictures are sorted in folders according to the date I transferred them in my laptop so it's really hard to sort them according to the places. Sobrang nakakahilo! hahaha And I was supposed to upload it pa sa photobucket because I'm already at my limit here in blogger. So plus the crappy internet connection, it was so hard to upload the pictures in photobucket.

Anyway, you don't want to know my connection problems and my sorting problems. So. hahaha

Well, I think I mentioned that South Korea was just a stopover before we go to the US. We had a 10-hour flight (Asiana Airlines). I know there's been a news issue about Asiana Airlines and I don't really know what to say. I don't know what happened with that plane (and it's such a coincidence that their time flight from South Korea to San Francisco is the same as ours back in April). I love Asiana Airlines. I am super satisfied with their service. I was comfortable the whole flight. Their food is great!!! And during the whole 10-hour flight, the flight stewardess never stopped serving us. They roam around the plane every few minutes to ask if we need anything even if most of the passengers are sleeping. And I swear they have to coolest (latest) movies! They have Japanese, Chinese, Korean and American movies to choose from! And I'm really surprised when I saw Japanese song selections (new songs from this jpop group I love).

We arrived around noon in San Francisco International Airport. There was a long long loooong line in immigration so we spent almost an hour in line before we got outside. My grandmother, Tita Martha and Tito Boy fetched us at the airport. They also treated us lunch and Tita Martha actually treated us to an inn so we could get a peaceful sleep because we had a long plane ride. My mom and I spent the whole day sleeping. We woke up only to eat dinner before we went to sleep again. So basically, our first day in the US was spent sleeping.

Our first gala day was c/o Tita Chit, my mom's cousin. She fetched us at Redwood and treated us to a hotel to stay at in San Jose. Then she toured us around San Francisco. I was still jet lagged so imagine, during the whole car ride around San Francisco, I was asleep! Hahaha for real! So I didn't see all the buildings and sights. My mom was actually making fun of me. She told me that I was missing everything because I was sleeping. Sorry jet lag e. Hahaha
Our first stop was the Golden Gate Bridge!!

Yes, my first jump shot in the US! :p

For left hand people like me! :p This is too cool.
After Golden Gate, we had lunch at Pier 39!
YES, lunch at Bubba Gump! Actually, I absolutely love shrimp! Anything at all to do with shrimp! That's why when my mom told me that she ate at Bubba Gump back in 2010 when she was in the US, I was so jealous. I wanted to eat there too! Bubba Gump was my first thought when we booked this trip to the US! I know, sobrang babaw, but true!!

You call the waiters' attention if you flip this to 'Stop Forrest Stop' which is so cool I kept turning it. (Sorry haha)
My Bubba Gump experience was just so fun! I didn't see any 'Shit Happens' sign but I think it's in the bathroom? I didn't use the bathroom so I don't really know.
I forgot to take a picture of the food! Hahaha I was so distracted by the interior of the restaurant I just... forgot. Hahaha
I wanted to try this Ben&Jerry's! But I was so full from lunch I just couldn't. :(

We got our tickets for the ferry. The route was around Alcatraz Island and under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Waiting under the hot burning sun. Chos hahaha

Alcatraz Island
The ferry ride was windy and chilly. I stayed inside the ferry almost the whole time. (And I fell asleep... hahaha I know I know)

After the ferry ride, we walked our way to Ghirardelli Square. I swear I wanted crabs after I saw the stalls.

Ghirardelli Square! They hand out free Ghirardelli chocolates when you go inside the store!
A nice way to end our San Francisco day :)
PS: I thought they were real blueberries! Turns out they were blue Ghirardelli chocolate balls. Hahaha

Yes, yes, more on our US trip! :p
