Four Seasons, 18th

January 4, 1994
(Celebrated: January 7, 2012)

You noticed how I always talk about my friends' debut last year?
Well, I guess it's my turn now.

(Late post! Again, I had been busy the past few days. Hoho)

I actually didn't know that I would be having a party until late November last year. Everything was so hectic. I already mentioned here that we moved houses, and second semester of school had just begun.
I thought I was just going to have a simple get together with my friends and that's it. But then, my mom asked Tita Jeanette to help her coordinate the party. And everything just fell into place after that.

It's really a good thing that my friend's mom, Issa's mom, Tita Nancy, is a caterer. That way, I wouldn't have a hard time looking for a caterer. Plus, Tita Nancy suggested someone who could design my dress, (who's actually the one who designs Issa's dresses) Tita Ces, and someone who could make my cake, Tita Gemma. Which means, I already have a caterer, cakes and a dress, and my mom and I accomplished that all in one day!

Since I'm already having a party, I asked my mom to put a photobooth (because most of my friends are really shy infront of a camera #sarcasm hahaha). I told her that I prefer Klariz's photobooth on her debut because the quality's good and the people are very friendly.

Soo, after all that's set, I need invitations. Tita Icy, Tita Jeanette's friend, designed my invitation, I only contributed the backgrounds. After that, I didn't know the plans.

My task was to make sure who among my friends could attend. And it's a headache, I tell you. Because there's school, there are plenty of exams already scheduled. So deciding the 18 blah blahs has been difficult too.

After that, mom looked for a photographer the last minute. I had a photoshoot December 31, yes, a day before New Year so it's just around our area.

The funny thing was, I don't even know why I have a photoshoot. Because I didn't use the pictures. I didn't want any tarpaulin because it would be a waste after the party. Hahaha, it's my first time having a photoshoot like this so notice my awkward smiles.

On the day of my birthday (January 4), when I woke up, I didn't feel like it was my birthday. Haha actually, when I woke up and checked my phone, my first thought was, "Why are people texting me? What happened?" FAIL. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! haha I think it's because my mind's set on January 7.

On the day of the party itself, I was too lazy to do anything. Haha I don't know if I'm nervous or just really not into it. I usually sleep in on the weekends but this time, I didn't. Actually, that day, I'm thinking that I'm going to prepare at 2pm to meet Chinchin at SM Calamba like what I usually do when I attend debuts. But not this time. Hoho

My cakes! The theme of my party came from my ideas of the cakes. I actually love the four seasons, you'd know that when you have read my post about it. :)

The one thing I requested from my mom before this whole party thing was I want beautiful cakes. It doesn't matter if I don't have a party as long as my cakes are beautiful! And looooook! I have gorgeous cakes plus a party. I put in all my time and effort to come up with ideas about the cakes. I searched google, tumblr, etc. And all of the things that I want to happen to my cakes, happened! Really, thank you Tita Gemma!

I also loved this idea from Tita Jeanette. It's like a message board but instead of having a board, you'd put messages on pieces of paper and hang it on the branches. :)

The early birds who saw me wearing an orange dress. Hahaha, only a few people saw me wearing it.

Thank you to these three people who helped me with my make-up and wear my dresses! (Micky, Tita Emilie, Lola Lety)

I was really nervous when I came out of that room. So I had that nervous smile on my face! I'd like to think it isn't obvious. (Yay tulips! Favorite flowers <3)

Yay! Thanks Tita Nancy for the catering! Thanks Tita Hazel (Micha's) for letting me order cream puffs even if you're closed on weekends!

Told my mom that I want a chocolate fountain. Always want one if ever I have a party! Sad I couldn't try it though. :( I only took bites from my friends. Haha!

Oh, and thank you mom for spending your time baking brownies and making cheesecakes for this party! Great to have a mother who loves cooking and baking!

While everyone was eating, I spent my time posing in front of the camera. Hahaha (takaw niyo friends! Chos haha) It's actually the problem when you have a party. You wouldn't able to eat until late at night. I ate at almost 10pm right after the party. Hahaha diet! Chos

Camera shy friends caught in the act! Hohoho

18 wishes.<3

18 treasures. <3

18 shots. <3

(The missing people from the pictures, it's either they couldn't come to the party, or the photographer failed to take a picture of them because they're too fast in speaking/posing. Haha)

Before the end of the party, Tita Jeanette organized a game called 'project runway' wherein my friends would make costumes for the different seasons using scraps of stuffs.

 My super friends! Hahaha!

Choosing the winners!
The winners were my cousins. Those little kids plus Michh. Hahaha

Yay! And I right after the party, I didn't know that the ribbons under my Autumn cake has those papers. They're like fortune papers or something. Nice!

Some crazy photobooth pictures!! Thank you Party Treasures! :)

 Super thanks for these gifts!
