I was born and raised in Laguna but I have never been to
Splash Island. Ever. And I actually do not know why. I think when I was a kid, it only opens during summer. But that's just what I think. I'm not too sure.
My family and I went here November 13. Mom took this chance since it's Pacman's match so the roads are clear. There's no traffic and there aren't a lot of people outside. (we always do this when he has a match) We were supposed to go during sembreak but we're always not available or we're too lazy.
Splash Island is a waterpark. It's really huge. I think the place is the size of a theme park. There are different kinds of slides plus a huge pool (by the 'fake' beach side) that has a morning and afternoon schedule for the beach waves.
My brothers, my mom and I tried most of them.
I actually enjoyed each one of them! <3
I am not too fond of slides so imagine how I reacted when I'm supposed to slide on these huge ones.
This is what we call our 'taxi' ride. It's the
Balsa River and it goes around the resort. It's hard to bring slippers when we want to ride (slide) on the attractions plus our feet hurt from walking on the rocky ground so we always ride here when we want to get from one place to another. Hoho
Here we are at
Agos Grande. The afternoon schedule. Hohoho enjoying the 'beach' waves.
I really hope I could come with my friends here! I think they'll love it too! :D
PS: Few pictures = too much swimming. I did not take any pictures. All pictures were taken by my dad since I was busy swimming and we didn't bring our waterproof camera. Hoho (just go to their site for more pictures of the place, click
here.)
