Before anything else...
Haha, I guess you guys are already getting tired because my blog's full of those birthday celebrations.
Again and again, it's always happy birthday this and happy birthday that.
Hihi I told you, there would be a lot this year and of course, next year.
But anyway, I'm trying to have variations in my posts so that it won't be just all about my friends' birthday celebrations.
With that aside, again, the week after Lali's celebration was Gely's. It's just a small gathering among her family and closest friends.
Before the program, a few of my (vain) friends had a small pictorial near the entrance of the hall. Normally, I would have joined them (I'm a camera-loving geek myself), but since I wasn't in the mood then, I just had fun letting them do poses in front of me.
Gely had a small program with Pritzy as the coordinator and emcee. And she was great. (cue the HAHA here... kidding!) Anyway, I am one of her 18 juices (like 18 wines) but a few of the people who are in her 18 letters couldn't come so I am one of them too. I was assigned the letter N in her name Angelyn and I described her as 'nice'. Hihi, I can't remember what I said that night but I think I told her that 'nice' wasn't just the expression people used but Gely really is a nice person.
After the short program, we ate outside the hall and I think I had two servings of fruit salad. Hihi, I'm like that when it comes to desserts. If it weren't for the fact that I was already full, I would have eaten more. Haha
I don't have a picture of the time we went swimming so I couldn't show it here but the pool has a TV perched on the wall nearby and it was cool that when we don't know what else to do in the pool, we just watch TV. Hihi. And the room we slept in was also cool. I couldn't describe it here and again, it's sad that I didn't take a picture. :(
All in all, I had fun.
Especially because I get to eat fruit salad again at midnight. Haha
